Hey I just got a mad idea for Chu to work on.

It's a browser add-on right. You highlight something, like a name or whatever, and right click. It adds to your right-click menu an option called "Wiki it" and it instantly opens a new window in which it searches wikipedia for the thing you specify.

chu already wrote a program that does that he sent it to me, its not a plug-in though

its called "rgogers wikipedia tool"

Ahh gotcha. Mine almost does that by itself. I just type into my nav bar "wikipedia whatever thing i'm searching" and it usually comes straight up with the page if it's a good enough match.

Pretty much.

Roger asked for it a while ago (similar idea to yours actually), I said I would whip-up an application to do it, and yeah.

I don't think he uses it anymore after working out how easy it is (configure the firefox search box to search wikipedia - I have the options of Google, Wikipedia, YouTube, Ubuntu Package Search, and Hoogle, you can just customise it to whatever you want, most sites which offer some sort of search function should give you the option of adding it to your search bar).
