The Clean - Compilation
The guitarist from Blood on the Wall used to be like the matridee at a restaurant here in CA and she always was telling me I needed to get that record. Is it good? |
yeah, it's pretty good. good collection of stuff from the early EPs and singles, which seem to be their most important work. can definitely see why stephen malkmus cited them as a major influence.
|
Throwin' it out there--My personal little security blanket lately has been Poets of the Fall. An absolutely amazing band out of Finland with a pretty solid reputation thusfar (Unsigned, four albums in, and they consistently get rated on the charts when they drop a single, you say? Really? Niiiice.).
Anyone who's a fan of Alt. Rock can probably find this band a safe bet to listen to. |
