I kind of wish my Carvin head had a tiny 3" speaker inside of it so I didn't have to struggle and fail to find headphones at my girlfriend's house. Then I'd have a mini, really REALLY quiet standalone combo.

She plays and sounds like a dream. The tone is really warm and not as punchy as I'd like, but I think it's because of the strings. However, I don't know if it's because they are dirty and old or because Conklin strings have a naturally very warm sound.

What other companies make super ERB strings aside from conklin?
