It's melo-death/thrash and it's it's really really awesome. Vocals will probably be a love/hate thing, but the instrumentation is more than enough to make up for them if you don't like 'em. Solos slay.

Yeah the vocals of Dark Empire annoy me a lot. His growls are ok, but the singing is just way off.

Yeah, I kind of agree, I learned to ignore them over time. What sucks is his cleans at the beginning of the last track are actually quite good.
