I remember first reading Goosebumps and seeing one of the Dad's saying "Whoa" to his kids, and I tried to puzzle out the meaning/sound of it as we have no equivalent word in Australian. I am pretty sure the Goosebumps story was the one where the kids are actually ghosts but they don't know it yet.

RiceMonster 11-19-2007 06:06 PM

Goosebumps was the **** back in the day. I remember one about some horror amusement park that I read a few times.

NemesisDivina 11-19-2007 06:07 PM

R.L. Stein ftw.

Goosebumps used to rule/still rules/will always rule.

Kage 11-19-2007 06:41 PM

QOTSA may be on that way towards radio rock nowadays, but their old albums are not like that at all.

I have Songs For The Deaf, it is really not very radio rockish imo.

pate 11-19-2007 06:46 PM

Songs For The Deaf and Lullabies are good. That's all I've heard.

Their older stuff was okay, but the last two albums I've heard were pretty atrocious.

Kage 11-19-2007 07:23 PM

I like them, but anything Josh Homme does is badass in my book.

pate 11-19-2007 07:27 PM

Brodie's not badass, but calling Sharon Osbourne a bitch and various other things IS badass.
