Normally I'd say I'd prefer sex to music.

But nobody gets remembered as a great man because they had sex. There were millions and millions of people who had sex while Mozart was writing his requiem, and they're all long forgotten.

Why?

Because sex is a part of life, and it's a thing that everyone (well, most everyone) will end up doing on a regular basis at some point. Writing music, however, is something only some people have the opportunity or the privilege to do, so I think making really good music is a more worthy achievement than just getting off in some chick.
