"To celebrate this year's chronic holiday, Cannabis Corpse have released their second full-length, [I]Tube of the Resinated[/I]. As expected, there are plenty of dank riffs, gutteral vocals, and marijuana puns - what has changed is the style of writing and overral production. Unlike the crusty home recording sound of [I]Blunted at Birth[/I], the quality here is clear and slightly punchy. Many of the songs present a standard death metal sound; it's obvious that the band have continued with their Cannibal Corpse worship, and even go as far as to include more solos, 'melodic' riffing, and tempo changes. Although it is a solid and enjoyable album, [I]Tube of the Resinated[/I] lacks the fun and totally unserious vibes that resinated throughout their previous effort."
