my parents pretty much only argue when they drink

i hate being around drunk people they're really fucking argumentative and unpleasant

i always hear them screaming at each other about bs drunkenly and i just shut the door and play games

my dad got my mom a ton of stuff and she got him barely anything

it's been happening for years how my dad does a lot and my mom is complacent. All she had to do was get him a thing of coffee he asked for but she didn't

my dad is better but he's a control freak and tries to run my life and he drinks too much and is really stupid/unpleasant/argumentative when he drinks

my stepmom doesnt talk to me too much but she's pretty bitchy and also drinks too much

My parents rarely argue, at least when I'm around. Generally they're just really pleasant/kinda boring people lol.

they broke up when i waslike 7-12 it took a while

my mom is totally insane she flips out and starts hysterically screaming/going on emotional rants over practically nothing

she either punished me way too harshly or not at all. for example if i got a C as a kid i was grounded until the next report card but she had no problem letting me smoke pot and take acid at our house since i was 16

my mom makes more money than my dad, they both make a decent income.

I don't have a close relationship w/ either of them, but I do what I can to make them not hate me and it works well.

i don't answer the phone when my mom calls i haven't seen her in a year

does anyone have cool parents that are still together? steve seems to have the closest to that but they're boring

hell, everyone I know seems to have one cool parent that's divorced or two boring parents that are together.

My parents are cool in that they're easy to get along with and generally support me and stuff but just kinda have a lot of typical baby boomer views and ya.

I have some friends with really cool parents.

i guess i just think my mom is the "perfect" one because when i was younger my dad used to sort of freak out pretty often and would shout a lot, a lot of the time because he and my brother really don't uh mesh well. but, what do you know, he actually seems to have really tried to work on it and he almost never gets really mad anymore so it's all good

my parents have been married for over 40 years @ brent
