Amazing album

I finally got around to listening to Hammerheart and Estrangement yesterday. Both are quite good.

Estrangement > AA

neither of those are very good

Which, the Drudkh or the Drudkh and the Bathory?

i wish the same thing. stalaggh is the gayest band out there for that kind of thing, they want everyone who listens to their music to die as well as the rest of humanity, yet they dont just kill themselves.

I gotta say the more I listen to Marduk, the more I like them.

anyone like amaka hahina? yeah marduk is alright, i dont think theyre terrible but not too good for repeated listens. TOTU is pretty good, and HSBWEAG was alright too.

Really, I hear more variation in their music then some other BM bands from their era.

About Marduk, I've listened to them for about 4 years and I find that leaving out the middle of their discography is the best approach to them. They're not bad but they definitely had their norsecore albums.

Amaka Hahina is one of those bands that just seems to bad to even be worth checking out.

Yeah the later era is what I had heard first and turned me off of them. Opus Nocturne is quite good though.

Learn how to listen to music, and you have that problem.

I suppose some of Marduk's albums can become a bit repetitive.
I picked up Dark Endless, the first album a few months back, it's quite different, there's some slowish moody stuff on there, as opposed to straight-up blasturbation all the way through.
Not that there's anything wrong with blasturbation :)
