yeah we get really bad lake affect, and since there are no trees [or buildings] to stop the wind the windchill brigns the temp to like -20F |
it's snowing pretty bad here right now but not bad enough to cancel anything
so many car accidents though |
Yet another sunny and clear day for Seattle.
Still freezing though. |
65 degrees here now nice
|
:(
its only -9C right now but it was like -21C yesterday |
damn son
-21C is fucking COLD it's -4C atm |
40F/4C here
|
it was -34C without the windchill last week :|
hey guys, anyone wanna tell me why my % yield for salicylic acid would be higher than 100%? |
miscalculation
idk |
doubt it
i'm thinking that its because the purification process couldn't wash away chemicals that have the same solubility as the salicylic acid that's what i'm gonna say, what ever tl;dr csb |
tis like 65 F here.
|
it was -22F like last week. thank god it wasnt windy or it wouldve felt colder!!!!!!
|

@deth
I like chemistry :( @tim we were synthesizing salicylic acid, it's not that odd that I got over 100% yield because we had to purify it and dry it. So I just said that it was because of the impurities that had the same solubility as the salicylic acid and how there could have been leftover water-ethanol solution left in the sample afterwards |
