The new Cenotaph is alright, not as good as the DS...the new Inherit Disease sounds pretty cool from what I've heard.

AoM and the one after it are the only Morbid Angel albums I'm in to.

well i still love altars, IMO it's better and more important than legion but yeah mental funeral is better. not sure where i'd rank severed survival.

SS is not as good as MF but it's a lot better than a shitload of other death metal albums.

They're like NYDM/Deathcore with really throaty growls, really deep gurgles, and cool raspy high scrammies.

Only disappointing factor is the gang vocals, but they're from New York and in our age group, and there's not too much.

Breakdowns in that first song are punishing.

Stench is good even if they're blatantly stealing Slayer riffs on it. First two are also good. Everything else sucks.

I'm not crazy about it, if only because they're way too loud. I don't generally ignore gurgly vocals unless they're pushed back, like in Wormed, or negligible, like in older Prostitute Disfigurement. The highs sound okay but almost a little too dry maybe? Music kinda sucks.

After listening to [I]the Entity[/I] extensively I'm convinced that it is one of the most evil death metal albums ever.
