Bulb/Periphery - Racecar Updated!
So this has actually been finished for a while but we figured we would wait a bit before showing you a bit more of the song.
Keep in mind all the takes are still rough and it is unmixed of course, we will rerecord the full thing with vocals as soon as they are ready! You can check it out on soundclick at http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=147108&content=music (the first two songs on the list) (uploading in two parts was the only way i could get it onto soundclick) And i uploaded it to myspace as well: www.myspace.com/iambulb (had to split it into 3 parts for myspace, sucks i know but at least it goes automatically to the next part there) Enjoy! |
oh yes, i've been waiting for this
/listens |
i think that transition at 5:06 is a bit abrupt, but everythig after that is pure gold.
also guitar sounds a bit muddy, but as you said its unmixed. damn man iunno how you write this stuff, haha i love it is this all recroded with your pod, or invader + palmer? sounds like the pod to me, your invader + palmer stuff tends to sound a bit 'cleaner' |
brilliant
do you play in any normal peoples time signatures? or do you just like to fcuk with my face? live...does the clean "airy" parts get lost in the mix over the djent? |
hehe most of this song is either in 4/4 or some even sort of pulse, just syncopated and stuff...
we make sure the clean stuff cuts live, but we arent playing this one just yet, jake and i have to teach it to the rest of the boiiiiis |
see...i didn't even know most of it was in 4/4
|
riff at 5:30 is just ****ing retarded
how the **** do you remember that |
ok guys i updated the soundclick version so that its the full 14 minute song in two parts
|
now that would of made sense in the beginning wouldn't it....
but judging by your synctopation...you don't like things that make sense:thumb: |
tee to the hee

|

|
what did you do with the old krup?
|
Like Max said, Pod or ENGL?
The clean solo in part 1 is lush. At 3:09 in part 1, noise in the background, sounds like a frog, is it bass? |
