Strong 2.5 - Well...not necesarilly good.
,,The Bound Feed The Gagged'' has some things going for it, very obviously the band is quite instrumentally proficient, they have unique Female vocalist Candace Kusculain, and she actually sounds pretty good on this Record. Plus they tend to mix their metalcore with some thrash metal riffage, and that actually adds something unique to the band...YEAH..But that's about it, there is so many things going against this record...
First up It's Lazily written - this is mainly obvious in the songwritting, every little song except one little exception (Angel) sounds pretty much alike, off course the band tries to change a little something in every song, but mostly it just doesn't add anything to the ending product, great example of this would be the opener that has this extremely unnecessary tempo change in the middle of the song, it just breaks the dynamic of the song, or couple of songs have these extremely unnecessary breakdowns, that do totally NOTHING!
Second Point - Generic - Most of this album just doesn't sound unique in comparison to some of it's contemporaries
The Last Point - 2 minutes isn't enough...Walls Of Jericho aren't exactly the band that can work with these shorter songs...they don't have the dynamics, heaviness and memorability to make these short songs compelling
Highlights: ,,Unwanted Resistance'', ,,Misanthrophy'' ,,Angel''
