A Static Lullaby formed in 2001 and played local shows until they signed with the label ferret records in the summer of 2002. They produced their first full length debut release ...And Don't Forget to Breathe which followed their self-prodced "Withered" EP. They are a blend of emo, hardcore, and maybe some punk. This album sounds alot different then their newest release Faso Latido. I also think this album is alot better too.

1. Nightmares Win 6-0
For the first 45 five seconds you here some sort of screeching noise then comes in Brown screaming. The verse is okay not bad it picks up when the chorus comes and Arnold starts to sing. The guitar work is pretty good not a bad song. 3/5
2. Love To Hate, Hate to Me
This might be the most poppy song on the record but its still a good song. The guitars play some nice catchy rifts and it has an okay chorus which then follows up with a quick catchy solo. 3.5/5
3. Withered
This is probably one of the best songs on the cd. It starts of with the two guitars trading off and Arnold singing the verse. The screaming and singing blends in great in the chorus. The verse and chorus repeat and then comes this nice slow solo. The chorus repeats again and is followed up by another descent solo. 4.5/5
4. Lipgloss and Letdown
This is the single off the album and not a bad song. It starts off with Brown screaming then comes just the bass and drums in while Arnold sings the catchy verse. The bridge leads up to the best part of the song the outro where you can here Brown scream well I didn't want it this way while Arnold sings. The guitar riffts I think are perfert for this ending to a great song.
4.5/5
5. A Sip Of Wine Chased With Cyanide
This is the best song off the record. It has well built verses, catchy choruses, powerfull breakdowns, and even a very good solo at the end which sums up this perfect song. There is nothing else to say
5/5
6. We Go To Eleven
This song probably stands out from most of the other songs on the record. I can't think of anything to descrbie it but it's a good song.
4/5
7. The Shooting Star That Destroyed Us
This is the next best song that stands next to " A Sip Of Wine Chased With Cyanide." It starts off with a perfect intro and verse which build it up to the chorus where Brown starts to scream. The next verse is vere catchy with sliding octaves and palm muting. It next leads into this very catchy bridge. The best part of this song like " Lipgloss and Letdown" is the outro which has Arnold yelling whoah! and a guitar solo behind it.
5/5
8. A Song for a Broken Heart
This is not the best song but I like it alot. It starts off with some palm muting and which is then followd up by Brown's screaming which is found on alot of the other songs on the cd too. The best part I like about this song is the verse which has the muted guitars and Arnold singing some pretty catchy lyrics. 4/5
9. Annunciate While You Masticate
This is probably the worst song on the cd. The only thing I like about it is the intro. 2.5/5
10. Charred Fields of Snow
Not a bad song to end a good album. It starts off with Brown screaming as usual, but the verse is what stands out I think. The chorus is okay but the best part of this song is the verses to listen to.
4/5
This is not a bad album to get if your a fan of this kind of style of music. The songs do start to sound a little like the same but still good to listen to. I would give this album a 3.5/5 not bad. Rate this reviw please.
