This is such a difficult album to be objective
about. On one hand this is the heaviest and most
experimental the band (and by band I mean Andrew)
has ever sounded. It's the best album this new
lineup has put out. But how much of this is really
just Andrew with Norma Jean? The old lineup ran
it's course after ..and the Rest, which was a
great final showing for the OG lineup but after
that Andrew ran the show for better or
worse. I wish the P86 name would have been buried
because it just never felt the same. DBL is and
always will be the best album and always deserved
a bigger following than it got. I really enjoy the
vocals on this album and I wish previous albums
would have leaned more into that style. All things
considered Omni is a great album and even though
it's not really Project 86, on its own what Andrew
and co. created as a send off cements P86 as one
of the most underrated and interesting bands in
the scene.

Part 2 is even better than Part 1...part one is a little bit more story and cinematic and super dense. Really like part 2 as it just pummels you. Darren's guitar work on part2 is amazing and Abishai's drumming is rad too

I believe it’s pretty much just Andrew Schwab from P86 and then the Norma Jean boys that did the music.

Honestly had no idea these guys were coming out with a new album, or that this was going to be their final release, but it's pretty good stuff. Some of the interludes can drag on in places and the lyrics are a bit eyebrow-raising at times, but this is probably the best P86 has sounded since ...And the Rest Will Follow. Looking forward to the second part of this release.
