Glass Casket =
Adam Cody - vocals
Ian Tuten - guitar
Dustie Waring - guitar
Blake Richardson - drums
Sid Menon - bass

Glass Casket hail from North Carolina, which other metalcore acts such as Between The Buried And Me, Beloved, Hopesfall are from. and in my opinion, Glass Casket are alot like Between the buried and me and DEP. the music changes so fast from crazy riffs, to thrash, to the hardcore breakdowns, to death metal. and to the bass fans out there, the bass guitar is prominant thoughout the album as well. when i first listened to this album, i got goosebumps. and thats no poo.

Adam has a great screaming vocal that is just ungodly, but its not screaming all the time, so dont think the vocals get boring. because he switches the screaming vocal with in my opinion the best death growl i have ever heard. but thats not all, adam even has melodic voice as well. which is nice to have the change from every now and then. the vocals reminds me of Mike Patton (Faith no more, Mr. Bungle, DEP ) to Maurizio Iacono ( Kataklysm ).

The drumming is awesome as well. Blake plays with some intesity. blast beats from hell during the death metal parts. and quickly switches to for the chaotic metalcore, to the breakdowns of hardcore. at times it seems he is having a seizure, from hitting the hi-hat and the snare so **** fast.

I would say listen to this album more than once at first, because you will find something new that you might now of heard upon the first listen.

If you are a fan of metalcore, this is a must. and i think that fans of death metal would embrace this as well. it just has that quality that someone looks for in a album. very talented artists that shine through on this release. Glass Casket are on Abacus Records, which is part of the Century Media family.

Glass Casket - We are gathered here today
1 Pencil Lead Syringe 5/5
2 And So It Was Said 5/5
3 Fisted And Forgotten 4.5/5
4 Fearfully And Wonderfully Made 4.5/5
5 Celler Door 4/5
6 Chew Your Fingers 5/5
7 Scarlet Paint And Gasoline 4.5/5
8 In Between The Sheets 5/5
9 A Gray A.M. You Will Never Get To See 5/5

All in All i would give this album a 5/5 stars. because i think this could be prasied by more than one genre.

I would of gave You all reviews of the songs but being my first review ever done. i didn't know if i could of done it the way it should be. all i can say is that not One song on this album is boring. Its keeps you at the edge of your seat the whole time. I usually cant stop moving while listening to this wonderful album.

Holy God yes, good to have someone here into the mighty Glass Casket!!!

I love this band, I just had the pleasure of seeing them recently too and it was awesome. There wasn't very many people there and me and two other guys were the only ones that knew the lyrics (They were opening for Nodes of Ranvier), and so we all got this awesome mic share for the the end of "Scarlet Paint and Gasoline". One of my favorite moments of any show I've ever been too.

Oh, and their bassist does the clean vocals, not their lead singer.

I enjoyed this review but I prefer the track-by-track. Gives me a better feel, you know? Other than that, nice review, and good choice.

This is one of my favourite heavy albums.

Twas an OK review, but a good job for first time.

I love this album. A Gray A.M. You Will Never Get To See is what extreme music should sound like.

I really don't know. Sure they're alright and probably the best deathcore band out there but that's like saying you're the tallest midget in the world.

Not even best deathcore band out there. They're just among many other mediocre bands.

KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN

But seriously, I don't get where kids get off writing off exceptionally good bands just because it's cool to dislike the style they play. -_-;
