Hammock - 'Raising Your Voice... Trying To Stop An Echo'
Slint - 'Spiderland'
That Hammock album is one of my favorite Post Rock records. Really calming, and there are even some vocals. Slint...well, that Slint album is kind of in the same league as Talk Talk's 'Laughing Stock' in that it's not itself strictly Post Rock, but was essential in helping define the sound of the genre. And it's really damn good. |
