07.21.12 | I wish I made this 50 instead of 40. I still have quite a few left over, but this was frustrating enough to make so whatever. |
SgtPepper
07.21.12 | A friend of mine sent me 1 via email yesterday. I havent gotten around to listening to it yet, but im excited. |
LifeAsAChipmunk
07.21.12 | You should, it's a very fun listen. |
eternium
07.21.12 | Listening to 2 now, pretty good. 14 rules and the one song I heard from Joey was good as hell. |
LifeAsAChipmunk
07.21.12 | Cool. Gatherer was a nice listen, a good break from all the boring hardcore I've been hearing. Joey is odd for me, I like it and he's good, I can't place my score yet. |
LifeAsAChipmunk
07.21.12 | At least you have an iPod. Don't complain, Andcas.
2,3,4,6,10,20,21,22,24,25,27,32,33,36,37,39 are the ones you'll probably enjoy off of this. |
LifeAsAChipmunk
07.21.12 | No, I don't listen to music unless I'm home. |
Yuli
07.21.12 | Is 13 really jazz? Thought it was a rap album.
Sweet list though, this should be featured. |
auberginedreams
07.21.12 | 36 is really good. |
auberginedreams
07.21.12 | yeah 13 is definitely a rap album. |
Yuli
07.21.12 | Chipmunk where do you find out about all this music |
LifeAsAChipmunk
07.21.12 | 13 is definitely rap, my mistake. 13 was originally going be Van Morrison but I decided against it at the last second. I'll fix it. |
DaveyBoy
07.21.12 | I thought this list would have more "catchy". :-) |
LifeAsAChipmunk
07.21.12 | If you want (what I suspect to be) Davey approved catchy, then search listen to: 3,4,6,10,19,27,29,30,31,32,33, and 35. |
LifeAsAChipmunk
07.21.12 | "Chipmunk where do you find out about all this music"
I get them from Sputnik itself, looking around in youtube, and other music sites. Absolutepunk is where I get most of these outside of Sputnik. |
deathofasalesman
07.21.12 | That Anoice is pretty cool. Cool review for it too. Nice guy. |
LifeAsAChipmunk
07.21.12 | Definitely, bro. |
Yuli
07.22.12 | Gatherer is great. The Paper Chase was way too weird for me. Balkans was alright from a brief listen, and the Squid the Whale album was too frustrating for me.
I'd say that Gatherer is the biggest success. |
LifeAsAChipmunk
07.22.12 | Sorry to disappoint you, Omaha. To be honest, when I heard Icarus the Owl, Squid the Whale was what almost immediately came to my mind in terms of a "recommended if you like" section. And Paper Chase is indeed very strange, probably the biggest reason why I loved it.
I'm really hoping you'd like 27, if you can check it next here: http://nghbrs.bandcamp.com/album/hellomind |
Trebor.
07.22.12 | Lost In Kosto are sweet |
ProfessorVeerappan
07.22.12 | yea a total charge of post punk and hip hops
where is the living metal in the list
dead and gone. |
LifeAsAChipmunk
07.22.12 | Yeah, Lost In Kostko are very sweet.
Sorry, Doc, I don't really like metal all that much. The new ones I listened to recently (Periphery, Ne, Baroness, and Contortionists) I didn't enjoy too much. |
Pentagon
07.22.12 | lol 1 sounds great |
Yuli
07.22.12 | You didn't disappoint me dude, I just listened to the wrong things ;) |
ProfessorVeerappan
07.22.12 | woah chill out the right music is got nothing to do with lyrics or metal

07.22.12 | "woah chill out the right music is got nothing to do with lyrics or metal
eventually any artist has got to have the X factor that takes us into the FLOW"
I can somewhat agree with that. Lyrics and instruments aren't everything, yes, but they do play a large part. |
jefflebowski
07.22.12 | list deserves its feature for 1 alone |
LifeAsAChipmunk
07.22.12 | hey now |
