08.01.12 | 35/36 art, I fucked up the album name of 33.

08.01.12 | I'd actually forgotten how good the Machine Head and Boston albums are. I mean you know we pay lip service all the time but sometimes you need a reminder of why you placed them so high to begin with. I mean minus "More Than a Feeling" which is a great classic rock radio hit the rest of the album is just an American rock phenom. |
clercqie
08.01.12 | The Band are really really good |
omnipanzer
08.01.12 | Yah the s/t is a revisit for me but "Music From Big Pink" is new. |
Rikardur
08.01.12 | I want 27 and 28! Vinyl? |
clercqie
08.01.12 | Really? I thought Music From Big Pink was the essential one |
johnnyblaze
08.01.12 | i'd say both are essential. you get them on vinyl? |
omnipanzer
08.01.12 | No, I don't have the money or space for Vinyl. Also I grew up with Vinyl so it's a little less of a novelty to me than it probably is for you. I stick with 320 MP3's and FLAC.
"Really? I thought Music From Big Pink was the essential one"
The s/t and "The Last Waltz" were the ones I grew up with. |
Rikardur
08.01.12 | I grew up with CDs, so I can say the same thing but vice/versa, haha. But in all earnestness, I just
prefer the feel of vinyl on my eardrums. I hope you don't actually buy mp3 and FLAC though...biggest
waste of money, in my humblest opinion. UNLESS, that is the only way to support the artist you like,
then I understand. |

08.01.12 | I do a combination of things and contribute to artists I want to when I can. I do purchase digital
music but only because I can't afford a lawsuit, because family. If I were still single I'd never buy
another track. I typically buy at $.08 a track and I consider that a cheap insurance policy. |
johnnyblaze
08.01.12 | damn .08 a track is super cheap. what site do you buy from? |
AngelofDeath
08.01.12 | You listened to The Drift, yet? |
Rikardur
08.01.12 | Because family? I'm curious. |
Acanthus
08.01.12 | Nice list sir, I just spent a bit on some new DJ gear rather than music (kinda makes me sad). |
JamieTwort
08.01.12 | Good list. 31 is really underrated. |

08.01.12 | "damn .08 a track is super cheap. what site do you buy from?"
iomoio.com
you have to pay up front.
"You listened to The Drift, yet?"
Not yet AoD but I will within the next hour or two. I just got those today because of one of today's reviews.
"Because family? I'm curious."
I'm not going to ruin my family's life (wife/kids) because I can't control my compulsion to hear all music that could possibly please me in some way.
Agreed JT |

08.01.12 | You must be a very cautious man, then. Honestly, every man I know downloads regardless of familial/marital/whatever status and they live happily ever after. |

08.02.12 | i've really been getting into classic roakc a lot more recently |
bowlofsoup
08.02.12 | Been digging 1 for the past two weeks. I want to try 35 just cause of the album cover. |

omnipanzer
08.02.12 | The s/t is better bowlofsoup
Yes Weesnaw you do
Rikardur, I am very cautious and maybe not cautious enough.
It only takes your IP on just the right list to be viewed anytime in god knows how many years to have your financial future ruined over something you probably should have paid for in the first place. |
AngelofDeath
08.02.12 | "Not yet AoD but I will within the next hour or two. I just got those today because of one of today's reviews."
You're in for a treat. |
