Either by your free and good will or by force, sooner or later this will get to your
ears. Burn me alive, but I hate it with every piece of my pure soul. Now murder me
and rate it a classic or superb.

Gets almost the same dose of hype Jane Doe gets, but unlike it, there are some
users who actually aren't afraid to express their disapproval. I'm somewhere in the
middle.

In The Aeroplane Over The Sea

This is good. One of the bright sides of joining this site. I love nearly every single
song on it. In my opinion, worth the hype it gets.
4My Bloody Valentine
Loveless

In my case, this was the record that introduced me to Shoegaze. I can see why so
many user praise it. I can say that I like this and that this is OK, but nothing more
(I guess it's not my type of music).
5DJ Shadow
Endtroducing.....

This can be seen on nearly every "Top 10 Albums of the 90's" and "Top 10 Trip-hop
Albums". I think this deserves all the praise and I like it too, but I'm more of a
Portishead kind of guy.
6Modest Mouse
The Moon & Antarctica

Another great band that Sputnik introduced me to. Even though I prefer their debut over this, "The Moon & Antarctica" is a
truly amazing album. Another of those
bright sides of joining Sputnik.

The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me

This is pretty forced (Jane Doe syndrome) and so far I haven't read anyone
disapproving of it. For me, this just doesn't do it. Either I'm not into them or they
don't deserve the hype... probably the first one.
8Radiohead
OK Computer

Nothing much to say here. Many hate it as I hate "Jane Doe", think that is
overrated and lose their minds every time they read "Radiohead Ranked". On the
other side, many (including me) think that this is a masterpiece. Chose your side...
9Weezer
The Blue Album

Haven't seen much list containing this lately, but with this and "Pinkerton" having
+1500 votes (this one having nearly 2000) and still both being 4.4, you get a pretty
clear picture of these albums' praise. I love Weezer, a lot. And I love the fact that
all users share the idea that the post-Pinkerton material is pretty bad.
