| Effects Pedals
So, guitarists out there, what effects pedals do you have or like? | 1 | | Mogwai Mr. Beast
Danelectro FAB Tone - Not the new shitty ones, but the 90s model. Horrific, over
the top distorted tone that actually sounds pretty awesome. Mogwai swears by it. | 2 | | Aereogramme My Heart Has a Wish That You Would Not Go
Hall of Fame Reverb - One of the best reverb pedals I have heard thus far.
Currently saving up for this one. | 3 | | Circa Survive On Letting Go
Boss DD7 - Can't ask for much more in a delay pedal. Absolutely essential for what I
play (and stuff like Circa Survive). | 4 | | Flood of Red Leaving Everything Behind
DOD Phaser - Pretty cheap phaser pedal, certainly not as good as the EH Small
Stone, but it does the job for me. | 5 | | Oceansize Self Preserved While the Bodies Float Up
OLC Chunky Cheese - This is a clone of the Lovetone Big Cheese fuzz pedal. I don't
own one (yet) but I adore the incredible fuzz sound it gets. | 6 | | Kaddisfly Set Sail the Prairie
Boss TR2 - Essential for anyone who wants a tremolo effect in their library. | 7 | | The Orphan, The Poet Translating
Blackstar Ht Dual - Fantastic pedal with a tube/valve built in, massive sound. Has
two channels, which is great for switching sounds. Again, don't have this one, but I
plan on acquiring it. | 8 | | Wolves in Aramid Obsidian
Boss OS2 - This is my primary distortion at the moment. Sadly discontinued. Not
the best of the bunch, but it has a really smooth range between light overdrive and
sludgy distortion. I used this pedal to record a lot of parts on this EP. | 9 | |

10.24.12 | DL-4, MM-4, two DD-6s, a memory man, a fuzz face, a shitty distortion pedal (the orange one, can't remember who makes it), and a bunch of shitty old pedals i never use.
yeah i use 4 different delay pedals. | punkomania19
10.24.12 | Nice list man I really want a chunky cheese pedal aswell anything with that fuzz sound | UnnamedOcean
10.24.12 | Thats a ton of delay. Ever turn all of them on at once? | sniper
10.24.12 | potentially but rarely. i use the memory man for analog echo because it sounds sweet, and run it through the dd-6s. i have always used a dd-6 for stuff you can't do with analog (because digital doesn't decay unless you want it to), and when my friend gave me a second one i started using to get reverse delay sounds or for those rapid-fire split-second loops (tera melos does that). and the dl-4 is for longer loops or other weird/special delays. | bloc
10.24.12 | Liking all these gear lists recently :D
Fulltone Fulldrive 2 Mosfet
Joyo Vintage Overdrive (od808 clone)
MXR Dyna Comp
Digitech Hardwire Delay
TC Electronic HoF Reverb
Joyo Classic Chorus
Dunlop Original Crybaby Wah
ISP Decimator
Zvex Mastotron | menawati
10.24.12 | just compressor and reverb now, used to use a lot but it just masked how shit i was | Butkuiss
10.24.12 | I just use a DD3 and a ODB3, and a CryBaby Wah. Everything else I go through pod farm or Logic for.
I mean, I'm still deadset on building up more of a collection. I need a Flanger and a chorus and an SYB-5 and an expression pedal for that and a GEB and a better delay pedal, but right now I'm focusing on getting a new pre and a condenser mic.
Sigh. Being a multi-instrumentalist sucks. | Jash
10.25.12 | EH Big Muff Fuzz
DD-6 Delay
EH Holy Stain (Reverb/Pitch Shift/Tremelo+Distortion/Fuzz)
Digitech Whammy
Vox Wah | UnnamedOcean
10.25.12 | Yeah, playing multiple instruments can rack up money. Aside from guitar costs, I've spend bundles of
money on drums and still need to get some recording equipment. All that aside my hobby of photography
which cost me over a grand this summer. | Ire
10.25.12 | Big muff pi
digitech rp 500 im borrowing only for delays and the looper
devi ever ruby fuzz
malekko chicklet spring reverb simulator
want:
behringer bass synth generator
vox delay lab
eh super ego
every devi ever pedal | Dolving999
10.25.12 | I currently only have a Boss MT-2, which gets the job done, but not much more. Also an old Digitech
RP300 for the occasional experimentation. When I get the money I'm definitely gonna buy me one of
those delicious whammy's. |
