I also meant to rec Steve Hillage - Fish Rising. He's the guitarist from Gong who I know your not the biggest fan of but his solo stuff is a lot less wacky and easier to get into than Gong. |

In the same Opethy vein, Swallow The Sun- Emerald Forest and The Blackbird and Ghost Brigade- Until Fear No Longer Defines Us.This is a bloody good list though, you've named pretty much everything I know of. |
