My Top 10 Albums
I fucking love these albums. |
1 | | Isis Panopticon
The atmosphere they create is absolutely unique, and the concept of government
surveillance fits the mysterious and beautiful songs. Essential listening. |
2 | | Explosions in the Sky The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place
I love the melancholy tinged songs that cry ultimate bliss. With songs titles "The
Only Moment We Were Alone" its hard not to be emotionally affected by these
songs. |
3 | | Porcupine Tree In Absentia
I love every song on this album, "Trains" being one of my all time faves. |
4 | | Alcest Ecailles de Lune
This album has pure moments of eargasmic beauty, and never fails to not be
enchanting and immersive. |
5 | | Black Sabbath Black Sabbath
The album that created metal. "Black Sabbath" is the only song that has scared the
shit out of me ever. Also some of the heaviest shit ever. |
6 | | Agalloch The Mantle
I absolutely adore the cover art. This album is mystical and paints a picture of a
harsh yet beautiful snowy landscape. Immersive. It also has "The Hawthorne
Passage" of of my favorite songs. |
7 | | Drudkh Estrangement
Pure distorted euphoria. One of the few black metal bands I like, and those drums
on "Solitary Endless Path" - Dang! |
8 | | Pelican Australasia
Heaviness + Beauty = winning combination. The heaviest bliss ever. |
9 | | Hexvessel No Holier Temple
Makes me want to live in the forest, enveloped by nature...I MEAN that's what it
makes me feel like so its got to be special.. |
10 | | Ufommamut ORO: Opus Primum
The closest possible way you can get high without weed. Takes psychedelia to a
whole new pummeling and destructive level (describing the music hint hint). |
