I'm happy to see so many people taking into jazz lately, it's cool. Also does it have to be from the 60s? there is some interesting albums that i think youd dig from the 50s as well.

I would get all the Wayne Shorter albums on Blue Note- Night Dreamer, The SoothSayer, The All Seeing Eye, Adam's Apple, Schizophrenia, EtCetera, Speak No Evil(which you have) and the best, JuJu! Also, the following Miles Davis albums- Sorcerer, E.S.P, Filles De Kilimanjaro, Nefertiti, Miles in the Sky, Milestones, Bitches Brew and In a Silent Way. Larry Young's Unity and Of Love and Peace. Larry Young is an organist, eventually played with John Mclaughlin and even Hendrix. And I highly reccomened Herbie Hancock's Mahawandishi, Sextant and Crossings.

DeputyExorcist 04.19.13	No problem man. I'm a guitarist too, and I remember when I first started getting into jazz.... I was first into classic rock, metal... and then I heard all these jazz guys doing these beautiful chords, and I wanted to learn that. It was mind-blowing. It should take you to a whole new level on your instrument.
