| Goose Bumps Inducing Metal Songs
Metal songs that gave me goose bumps the first time I heard them, and still give me to some degree. Not a serious list, just some personal didgeridooery. | 1 | Warning Footprints
Every time I listen to this song, my whole body squiggles! The song really get's shit startin' around the 5 minute mark, and every time, my skin does the wiggly. | 2 | Virgin Steele Child Of Desolation
Not the biggest fan of ballads, but every time that piano line kicks in and DeFeis starts singing around 4:20, I just lose my shit. | 3 | Rainbow Stargazer
The final vocal lines of this song is Dio's best performance EVER. Even though you'd still want this track to extend for another 8-9 minutes, the ending is very satisfactory. | 4 | Queensryche Screaming In Digital
Creepy song with creepy lyrics. The same thing-ely as the song above: The final vocal lines are orgasmic! Geoff Tate, why do you have to be such a dick? It makes it harder to love you... | 5 | Pallbearer Given To The Grave
The final song to one of the greatest doom-metal albums I've heard, and what an ending! The intro sets the mood that few other bands manage to do, and thus earns a spot on this list. | 6 | Manilla Road Dreams Of Eschaton
Underrated band and underrated song. The solo section/instrumental section whatever you want to call it, is truly magnificent. Goose bumps here, goose bumps there, that section tickles me everywhere! | 7 | Exorcist Black Mass
Venom-esque black metal has never been creepier. The intro section to this song makes me feel like that guy who rips off his face in Poltergeist. Not that pleasure-filled to watch, but my damn is it good to finally get rid of that itchingly creepy feeling... | 8 | Cirith Ungol King Of The Dead
Best intro section EVER! | 9 | Cathedral Cats, Incense, Candles & Wine
That whistling at the end of the song? Yep, that shit. | 10 | Iron Maiden Hallowed Be Thy Name
Rounding up this list with my favorite band. The final part were Bruce recites the song title is probably the album highlight for me. Cacthy, addicting, and truly goosebump-inducing. | |

05.23.13 | Major props for number 5. Foreigner might be an even better song though. But Given to the Grave is great nonetheless. | MaidenFan24
05.23.13 | I actually thought about putting them both in, but when listening to them back to back, I couldn't help but feeling that "Given To The Grave" felt (for a lack of cheesier comparison) like an ethereal dream. It's just something about that somber and "floating" feeling that gets me everytime. |
