That said, I absolutely despise laddish indie culture and most of the music it spawns, and the vast majority of modern metal (pretty much every sub-genre) is so stale and unimaginative it's painful.

Breakdown heavy anything. Folk punk Indie folk Pop punk, recently anyways Trap music A lot of edm Crunkcore Glam That's all I can think of for now.

NapalmCrusader 06.01.13	Those are subgenres I dislike: Drone metal ( The only metl subgenre that actually bores me ) Teen pop and a big part of the most mediatic pop ( ex: lady gaga, katy perry), few exception are allowed A big part of grindcore( goregrind, pornogrind, noisegrind ) Some subgenres of hip hop ( Crunk, snap, hyphy ) Some pop rock bands are annoying as fuck ( train, the script) Reggaeton ( well, every latin with a decent IQ hates that crap, this genre makes that lil wayne and waka flocka flame looks like nas and dr dre) Brostep ( few exceptions to this rule ) Some pop punk ( the one made in the 00's by fall out boy, panic at the disco, cute is what we aim for, boys like girls, hawkthrone heights) is a torture for my ear Some core shit for scene kids is also very bad( escape the fate, attack attack, aiden, design the skyline and stuff like that) Crunkcore Modern country is also painful The rest of the genres are very enjoyable for me, I'm an open minded person with a lot of music genres and normally very few artists of the multiple genres I like are in my blacklist Surprisingly people haven't mentioned yet post grunge, power metal, djent, symphonic metal, new wave, AOR, smooth jazz and shit like that. I didn't that reggae will be so disliked here.

I'm gonna try at some point again but I've tried so many times and still there's only a select few bands I can enjoy. I also dislike most power metal.
