06.19.13 | I suppose it really depends on your individual creative process, personally I enjoy the focus of a clear head when writing as I tend to get distracted easily so anything that might impact my attention span or ability to remain on-point only really hinders me. But I know plenty of people who have benefited from it as well.

I've never reviewed or written casually while high, but there have been times like during midterms or something when I would feel fried from such writing-heavy courses, and smoked, chilled out for a while, and casually brainstormed some concepts, dynamics, ideas and shit for papers I had been working on... definitely wouldn't do the actual writing high though. |

Also have made some nice riffs while stoned, but can hardly ever remember them when trying to go back later and I get too lazy to set up all my recording shit just to record my practice jams. Then again I'm too lazy to set all that shit up even when I'm not high so I'm not blaming bud for that. My actual playing is best when sober though, even against adderall. |

LSD/acid isn't all that great for ideas, my past experiences have been revelatory more than anything - I can't see the experience actually generating ideas like that because I've found that art and music loses its value and importance on psychedelics |
