Yuli 12.23.13	Inside, No Place is just a really personal record to me. Totally get why people don't love it but it's a culmination of everything I love about ALLB's sound, and I connect w/ it so well. Dillinger is that way too because Billy Rymer is my favorite drummer, and it's hard to not totally respect anything he and the group make-- I get so much out of it, even if there are some meh tracks

Yuli 12.24.13	Rowan I'm not entirely familiar with their albums but I've heard the Midnight Organ Fight is a good starting point and Ali, Baths is just very special to me. the record has only grown on me throughout the year and I listen to it more than a lot of this stuff so the high ranking just makes sense at this point

This site makes me laugh sometimes, it seems like you guys just wanna make yourselves look good by picking out this kind of experimental garbage just to confuse people into thinking "why don't I like this?" Well, you don't like it because it's crap. Pure and simple. So many of the year's best albums are missing from this "best of" list that it's an utter embarrassment to me.
