| Ten Albums That Changed My Life
Here are ten albums that have proven themselves to be very influential on
my taste in music. | 1 | | At The Gates Slaughter of the Soul
This was pretty much the album that got me into death-metal. Still holds up
amazing today. | 2 | | De La Soul De La Soul Is Dead
Before I listened to this I pretty much thought that all rap was gangster-bull****.
Well, it wasn't literally what I thought, but, uhhhh, it kinda was. | 3 | | The Clash Sandinista!
I don't care what you say, but this will forever be my favourite album by The Clash.
Yeah, sure, the second half drags a bit, but come on, the sheer variety on this
record blew my mind the first time I heard it, and it still does. | 4 | | Garbage Garbage
Nah man, electronic stuff shouldn't be in rock musi.... Well damn, you got me. | 5 | | Yellowman Zungguzungguguzungguzeng
The best tioaster in all of reggae music, and no, you can't convince me otherwise.
Dude is damn funny. This album made me consider dancehall and reggae to be
potential styles of music I may enjoy. | 6 | | Kyuss Welcome to Sky Valley
The heavyness of this record almost destroyed like 4 speakers and one stereo-
system I owned. I can't stop turning it louder to drench myself in it's weight. | 7 | | Mr. Bungle Mr Bungle
Hi kids, I am you new favourite creepy clown. Don't be worried by me, I will just
lodge into your brain and screw with your perception of music. It's all good, though. | 8 | | Parov Stelar Coco
Dat electro-swing. And seriously one of the reasons I started digging into old
swing-stuff. Still got a long way to go. | 9 | | Napalm Death From Enslavement to Obliteration
Did someone say grindcore? I'm on board! | 10 | | Venetian Snares Rossz Csillag Allat Szuletett
I got no words for this record. Just, yes. | |
