| Current UK Hardcore/Punk
So the only hardcore/punk band you?ve heard of from England post-2000 is rprobably Gallows. Not too knowledgeable about the whole scene and I?m sure rthere are more good ones, but take my word on these. | 1 | | Violent Reaction City Streets
Very angry, stompy, oi-influenced straight edge. Best of the best. | 2 | | The Flex Wild Stabs In The Dark
Best mates with Violent Reaction, currently touring the US together. | 3 | | No Great Space
Roaring, noisy garage-influenced rock, but still distinctly hardcore. Touring the US as
well. Had to miss them over the weekend due to being sick, heard they were
amazing. | 4 | | Good Throb Fuck Off
Probably the least musically talented of the bunch, but the female singer definitely
packs a punch like Kathleen Hanna did. | 5 | | The Shitty Limits Beware The Limits
Not together anymore, and not really hardcore, but definitely technicaly, weird punk
with a member or two of Good Throb. | 6 | | DiE (UK) DiE
I legitimately couldn?t tell if this was from the 80s or not. Just find this and listen. | 7 | | Stab Blindness and Lies
The best effort from this straight edge/vegan hardcore band with very political lyrics. | |
