Black Sabbath Ranked

Ozzy era only, will rank the Heaven & Hell albums in a week or so. Recent relistens have forced rrrrme to reevaluate my favorites, especially the first three and where their debut should go. Feel rrrrfree to post your own ranking in the comments, I'm curious about other opinions on this as rthis rrrwas a hard ranking to make, especially the top 5.
10Black Sabbath
Reunion

Not really part of the ranking, just wanted to round the list to 10 slots. Great live
album, they finally got their reunion they had been working at for over ten years.
This only has two original songs, pretty decent but has nothing on anything on 13.
9Black Sabbath
Never Say Die!

The black sheep of their discography, and surprisingly unoriginal (first song sounds
like Thin Lizzy's The Boys Are Back In Town for one thing) and just meandering
and uninspired. The band were pretty burned out by this point and it was right
before Ozzy was fired so no wonder it's their worst one. Junior's Eyes is good and
the album as a whole isn't terrible. 2.5/5
8Black Sabbath
Technical Ecstasy

Here's a weird one, not bad at all but those who love their doomey sound will be
put off by this one, still a solid 3/5
7Black Sabbath
13

Right alongside Alice In Chain's BGWTB for best comeback albums in the past 5
years, I was surprised by how great this was. Classic Sabbath riffage, but still
diverse, even throwing in some blues riffs as a callback to the debut. 4/5
6Black Sabbath
Vol. 4

This is an interesting one, not as doomey and more diverse. The opener and closer
are the best on here, not to mention the amazing riffage of Snowblind and
Supernaut and Laguna Sunrise's beauty. According to Ozzy's autobiography the
band were high on cocaine during the entire process and barely remember
anything about writing it or recording it as a result lol. 4/5
5Black Sabbath
Black Sabbath

The first heavy metal album of all time, this album invented the genre and all the
subgenres, along with stoner rock and a lot of hard rock. It has some filler, but t/t, N.I.B and Sleeping Village are incredible
songs. 4.5/5
4Black Sabbath
Sabotage

Containing their two longest songs, both of which are incredible, this has some filler
but is #4 for previously mentioned and for having the first thrash metal song and
Hole in the Sky. 4.5/5
3Black Sabbath
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath

This and Sabotage were extremely close, but I have to give it to this one for Spiral
Architect, t/t, Killing Yourself to Live, and the relaxing Fluff. The others are great
too, and is one of the coolest album covers of all music. 4.5/5
2Black Sabbath
Master of Reality

Every heavy song is near perfect and has some of their best riffs. Into the Void is
top 5 Sabbath, the interludes are beautiful, Solitude is their best quiet song, and
everything's so downtuned and heavy I love it. 5/5
1Black Sabbath
Paranoid

This has some of their
best songs and riffs. War Pigs, Fairies Wear Boots, Iron Man, Electric Funeral. Every
song on here is a metal classic and is one of the greatest albums ever made. 5/5
