07.25.14 | Since I accidentally hit submit and I can't edit nor add descriptions for 8 and 9,here it goes:
Kiss it Goodbye doesn't nearly get the praise they deserve. Hartley is an instant classic, and a hell of a follow up to She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not's opener. Brutal and absolutely chaotic.
Zombie Autopilot is a rare breed. A band that some would declare generic from their inception, Unearth was very able to supply catchy riffs and beautiful guitar solos. The opening solo to Zombie Autopilot is one of the more memorable solos from that era. You combine that with pounding percussion and some of the more memorable harsh vocals from the second wave, you have an instant classic. |

07.25.14 | I have to admit that I am not the biggest Zao fan. I've tried and tried and tried, and while I enjoy a lot of their shit, I never seem to go back to them. |
Artuma
07.25.14 | awesome choices m/
MIIIIICHAAAAA |

07.25.14 | really love Unearth for some reason, they're so catchy and fun |
XfingTheSullen
07.25.14 | Good list dammit |

Emim
07.25.14 | I feel you would enjoy spitfire, pit |
Dodenakker
07.25.14 | Last Norma Jean album had some great metalcore tracks. The Potter Has No Hands was really fucking great. |
JesusMilosovic
07.25.14 | I do enjoy Spitfire, emim Lol.
And I have never truly enjoyed one single Norma Jean track. Their early stuff was just Botch worship, and their later stuff bores the shit out of me. |
NeroCorleone80
07.25.14 | List needs Forced March by Earth Crisis |
Dodenakker
07.25.14 | I do agree that Norma Jean has nothing on the metalcore "giants" like Botch or Converge ;). But that last album was a completely different beast than what they made before. |
JesusMilosovic
07.25.14 | I don't consider earth crisis "metalcore." |
NeroCorleone80
07.25.14 | They were one of the first of the genre |
JesusMilosovic
07.25.14 | Yes, they had a "metallic" sound, but they lacked the "subtle" breakdowns of integrity and Converge. |
Artuma
07.25.14 | bless the martyr had some true gems like the closer tho |
NeroCorleone80
07.25.14 | Metalcore is just hardcore with metallic guitars and thats exactly what Earth Crisis are. I dont see what else they can be classed as |
Pajolero
07.25.14 | Although I hate the term, I do respect your choices. You do seem to know your shit. |
JesusMilosovic
07.25.14 | Nero, that's such a generalized description. There are plenty of metalcore bands who don't have much of a hardcore influence. |

07.25.14 | Zao - Latter Rain |

07.25.14 | Thanks for repeating someone else's recommendation. It really contributes to the conversation. Are there
any other songs already on this list you might wanna rec me? |
0GuyMan0
07.25.14 | Not bad. Memphis will be laid to rest, the great dividers, love lost in a hail of gunfire, floater, 94 hours seem like some obvious omissions. |
0GuyMan0
07.25.14 | I'm a massive unearth fan, and zombie autopilot has always been my last favorite track. Idk why. |
InFlamesWeThrash666
07.25.14 | @JesusMilosovic I didn't recommended it,i voted for it. |

wacknizzle
07.25.14 | Frequency rules so hard. Oddly enough as much as most people love the end breakdown they only wrote it because they ran out of ideas |
JesusMilosovic
07.25.14 | I know, but doesn't that prove their genius? |
JokineAugustus
07.25.14 | If These Scars Could Speak and The Ghost Psalm are the 2 best songs ever. |

12.13.14 | Dude, picking Set Your Body ablaze is NOT in any way cliche or trendy. They came out with that track 2000 and it was A HUGE chang-up from Hearts Once Nourished... With the introduction of a new screamer, that version kicked ass, and then I think they topped it on the Misanthropy record. They tightened it up, gave it better sound, and it was a perfect match for the atmosphere of that album. And me personally, I would pick Coalesce over Botch and Converge, 69 ways til Sunday. |
demigod!
12.13.14 | can we at least agree 2 is the best song ever
