Calm yourself." Actually I'm usually pretty calm and I hate being obnoxious or making an ass of myself. When I'm not around friends I'm one of the most quiet people I know. I'll agree that a lot of kids get misdiagnosed with ADHD when they just need decent parenting, but for me at least, it's more of a matter of having difficulty focusing. "but you listen to music while you read...." I know a lot of people who concentrate better with music. A lot of times it can make it worse for me but yesterday there was this buzzing noise coming from my furnace room, so I really didn't have much of a choice.
