Deviant. 01.17.15	I suppose one day I'll have to force myself to quit (14 years in now), but the reality is that I still enjoy smoking. Obviously I'm addicted, but I still look forward to the morning coffee and smoke, having one with a cold beer after work etc
beefshoes 01.17.15	Just quit altogether. I quit smoking and snus last month on my 21st b-day (cold turkey) after years of a pack or more a day habit. It seriously wasn't that bad. The first few days are really rough, but after that, it only gets easier. I haven't had a withdraw since the first week, and I've not had a serious craving in weeks.

I still get to 'smoke' and satisfy the addiction but hopefully with lower health drawbacks. Not a permanent thing and gradually weaning off the nicotine level seems like a pretty solid idea. @beef Quitting cold turkey would be totally feasible if EVERYBODY I associate with didn't smoke. My boss smokes, family smokes, friends smoke, etc. that's been the major problem with the couple times I tried to stop altogether. I drink most nights too, so of course I convince myself to go out and have a smoke.
