IanBandeau: Bands That Sputnik Has Gotten Me Into

Yazz_Flute 07.06.08	1,2,3,6,7,8,9 are fucking ace. But I would say the only bands that are really well known outsude of sputnik are 3 9 and 10.

Mendigo 07.06.08	well, outside of the internet community none of them are fairly well known. I also found all of them through internet forums like this (but not only through sputnikmusic) btw, apart from 9 which I haven't heard yet all of these are amazing (10 is not as amazing as the rest, but still great)
StreetlightRock 07.06.08	Opeth, Godspeed, Sigur, CTTS, TFAT and C&C are all pretty well known within their genres.

I would argue that Opeth, Sigur, TFAT, and C&C are fairly recognized nowadays...but GYBE and CTTS are pretty obscure. I hadn't heard of either until i came to sputnik, as the others i had. Also, i would argue that besides, 9/10...at the drive in is the most mainstream of these bands BECAUSE of The Mars Volta's success.
