My Personal Big 4

This was so hard to make. If I had to list my top 4 favorite thrash bands that I couldn't live without and would put on a big production together, this would be the lineup. In a perfect world, this show would happen. But alas, this isn't a perfect world.
1Slayer
Seasons in the Abyss

Favorite thrash band, possibly just band in general, right now. An absolute barrage of thrashing riffs and lightning quick speed on every album. Can't get enough of it, thus making Slayer my headlining band.
2Metallica
Kill 'Em All

Say what you will about their later years, Metallica is easily one of the most influential metal bands of all time. Their first four albums are basically flawless and I couldn't live with myself if I didn't give them a spot. I've listened to them so much, and it wouldn't be right to throw them out of the picture because they changed their sound. This is the band that wrote Battery, Orion, Fight Fire With Fire, Master of Puppets, Hit the Lights, and One. Nothing they ever do will erase that legacy. Also, Hetfield's right hand is probably the gnarliest thing to ever touch an explorer.
3Overkill
Taking Over

A criminally overlooked band that never made it as big as the guys in the big 4, but recently have been picking up a lot of recognition. These guys are the definition of consistency and they've never put out an album that I didn't at least appreciate. Bobby Blitz is an incredible frontman and they've made some absolute classic albums like The Years of Decay, Taking Over, Horrorscope, and Feel the Fire. I couldn't leave these guys out. Hello from the gutter!
4Coroner
Punishment for Decadence

Literally every album this band has put out has been amazing. I love their cheese, chocolate, and especially their thrash metal. Cheers to Switzerland!
