10.15.15 | Fuck everybody going on about how it's not technical and doesn't perfectly capture every aspect of the album. This is sputnik music. The point of a review is to give the reader an idea of the way the album plays out, it's ups and downs, the instrumentation, the lyrics, the vocals, etc. This, though, is sputnik music. The site isn't all about how the music sounds. It's how the music feels, it's how you relate to the music, it's the memories that the music brings back. Sputnik is like music itself. It's technical at times, but it still has those moments where emotion really flows from it. Everybody needs to appreciate this review, and album, for what it is. It's cheesy, sure, but it takes you down memory lane. It makes you remember everything that came before it. It's somewhat generic by now, but it's a good formula. It's been influenced by works before it but it's done in a way that let's you forgive it's faults and accept it for what it is. A pretty damn good review and an album with the same faults and strengths.
