10.31.15 | I'm currently watching From Beyond. Decided a run of Lovecraft films would be the way forward for tonight! |

10.31.15 | Sweet list |
portableheadd
10.31.15 | Nice list, although it's a pretty wide interpretation of horror you got there. Would definitely add Suspiria, I Saw the Devil and Audition if you want to make your Halloween night extra spicy. |
porcupinetheater
10.31.15 | Props on Triangle, that one's way fucking underseen. |
Rowan5215
11.01.15 | Props on Spring if that's the one I'm thinking of, where the guy falls in love with the vampire-esque girl, terrific movie |
Insurrection
11.01.15 | spring is the only time i felt romance really worked in a horror movie. and wolf creek rules sach |
Insurrection

One of th best horror movies I've seen in the last few years |
Insurrection
11.02.15 | "i live in the weak..."
gives me chills every time |
PistolPete
11.02.15 | I've watched a lot of old and new horror movies. The old ones are typically more well-written but less scary and the new ones are scarier but lack basic plot haha
But....I have yet to see something in cinema scarier than The Grudge. Even if the movies weren't particularly well-made or produced, that entire branch of Japanese horror is fucking terrifying to me, The Grudge probably being the most shiver-inducing of them all. I had many sleepless nights as a kid because of that bitch. |
Insurrection
11.03.15 | i gotta see the japanese version. the american version was so bad it basically ruined jump scares for me |
CamiloG
11.03.15 | Great list, though you missed Carrie (DePalma), Rosemary's Baby (Polanski), Poltergeist and The Ring |
CamiloG
11.03.15 | The conjuring and The Orphanage are also great. |
PistolPete
11.03.15 | The Conjuring was very well done and a nice slow burn instead of the A.D.D.-type horror movies that happen today. But I didn't like that it basically just turns into an Exorcist rip-off at the end, kinda disappointing to me. Took away from its authenticity a bit. |
Insurrection
11.08.15 | the conjuring was great and is a masterpiece compared to the piece of shit annabelle
also finally saw creep. mark duplass killed it |
wham49
11.10.15 | saw a great one I haven't seen in years last week. The Town That Dreaded Sundown |
Insurrection
11.10.15 | i saw like half that movie and never finished it. saw the remake though, it was okay
edit: updated list |
Kman418
04.20.16 | u got some real garbo here but also a lot of cool stuff most ppl dont hit up so good job
check the list i made a few months ago
also beyond the black rainbow>every horror movie from the last 15 years |
Rowan5215
04.20.16 | dunno if it's been mentioned but Berberian Sound Studio is very good, very unsettling |
mifzal
04.20.16 | Noroi the curse is pretty sick
I agree Conjuring was disappointing, and it wasn't even a demon like The Exorcist but a ghost. It had the perfect buildup for a big demonish horror. |
PistolPete
04.20.16 | Was Cloverfield Lane and Green Room any good? I've seen those get good ratings on Metacritic + Patrick Stewart (the man) is in the latter film |
porcupinetheater
04.20.16 | Green Room's really solid. 10 Cloverfield Lane was overhyped a lot, not a trainwreck or anything, but definitely not anything special |
