Alex Webster, his stuff in both Cannibal Corpse and Blotted Science is great.
Also check Yutaka Higuchi from Buck-Tick, his work on tracks such as Ijin no Yoru and Speed is really neat, and just does his job as a bass player superbly. |

Anyway, as far as bass goes... Dan Briggs too. I'm not a massive fan of BTBAM, but he's a great bassist and Viridian is easily the best part of Colors. |
