01.11.16 | Your mind is awake while your body is still sleeping, our bodies paralysis's itself to protect us from reacting to our dreams... which is why some people sleep walk, they don't get sleep paralysis.
That's the science explanation, here's a spiritual explanation: There was a malicious spirit preventing you from moving, maybe it's all that black satan music you listen to. |
Deathconscious
01.11.16 | Sure, we'll go with that. |
Sinternet
01.11.16 | Used to get when i was like 10 but had it again two weeks ago for the first time in about five years, sucks because i thought i'd gotten passed it and shocked me |

01.11.16 | I remember this happening twice to me and I was scared shitless, both times I remember feeling a presence, the presence is so strong it immobilized me. |
Deathconscious
01.11.16 | Nothing like that, i just get the feeling like i cant move or yell, and i feel like im suffocating, and my heart will race. A couple times i felt like i was having a heart attack. Ive gotten used to it now though, it doesnt bother me that much. |
Deathconscious

01.11.16 | I often get that presence, as if you can feel something moving and getting closer and closer. A couple of times I thought i saw a visualisation of it and it was just a black shadow that moves by itself, a bit monk-like in appearance.
Also kinda off-topic but I constantly get nightmares involving that fucking rabbit thing from donnie darko |
Vetimus
01.11.16 | I had one with an old lady eyes rolled back smiling at me. |

01.12.16 | That must be downright terrifying, don't listen to Dredg's Scissor Lock when you think about that.
Personally nothing like that [2] but every now and then I can't move or speak and I feel my teeth gritting with impossible force (I believe they would get damaged if it was real) while sort of spooky things happen, and I have the urge of 'waking up' to escape the state. Often bonded with a recurring nightmare. It happens when I take a short nap in the afternoon though, not at night. Therefore I'm sure it must be stress related. |

01.12.16 | Last night i had a really fucked up dream. I was playing some video games in my room with a friend and my 8 year old niece was fucking around in my room. I heard the front door knock and she ran downstairs and opened the door. I heard her say hi or something and then i heard some man yelling and then like 4 gunshots. I started going for my gun and then i woke up with a pounding heart. It was all very vivid, it scared the shit out of me.
I dont get a lot of nightmares anymore but when i did a lot of them were apocalyptic. |
trve
01.12.16 | only happens to me in the morning after some reoccuring nightmare which i still dont really know what it is about, something that's simply so wrong and otherworldly my mind can't seem to grasp it, the sleep paralysis used to be quite terrifying until i tried inducing it through some kinda meditation and learned that it wasnt anything dangerous and goes away, now its just annoying to me |

01.12.16 | are you on any medications?? sometimes certain medication can have a particular disrupting effect on your REM cycles and circadian rhythm, and this can induce sleep paralysis or severe cataplexy.
|
Vetimus
01.12.16 | Nah no medications its completely normal, just slightly creepy nowdays, I know whats happening so it doesnt bother me.
I use to see a man which resembled slenderman in the corner of my room when I was little, only difference was he had a suitcase. |
Vetimus
01.12.16 | At its worst its the scariest thing ever. |

11.08.16 | bump i had this happen last week for the first time in a few years. Hadnt slept in like 40 hrs, tried sleeping at midday, had amphetamine in my system, it was a recipe for sleep paralysis. Had the usual twilight feeling, paralyzed, some indiscernible abomination enters the room and induces pain somehow/ This time was pretty bad because i was shaken up but so tired that i had no choice but to try and fall back asleep after the ordeal thank fuck i slept soundly though.
Listening to 2 prob isnt the best idea if you're trying to avoid sleep paralysis lol |
