Nostalgia jams

Albums that got so wrapped up in formative memories that I jam 'em to this day and still get all bubbly to. A place before I started reading Kierkegaard and Schopenhauer. These were, like, my hottest tickets in Kindergarten. Smash Mouth not included. Everyone grows out of their Smash Mouth phase.
1They Might Be Giants
Flood

The mother of all nostalgia jams
2Vertical Horizon
Everything You Want

Used to steal this from my Dad's CD rack whenever my grandparents would babysit.
3Eve 6
Horrorscope

Hopped around the family room all like, "I promise not to try not to fuck with your mind." Mom always tried to stop my Dad from letting me jam.
4SR-71
Now You See Inside

Those glorious 6 months when Right Now appeared regularly on the radio and I begged for the album until Christmas time.
5R.E.M.
Green

Heard Stand on a comp CD back in a daycare/preschool thing. First song I ever fell in love with, begged my parents to get there early every morning so I could pick the first song they played.
6Ween
Pure Guava

PUSH TH' LITTLE DAISIES AND MAKE EM COME UP

Definitely didn't know it was about death, or I probably would've freaked, like the time I read Chicken Soup for the Kid's Soul in 1st grade and ran into my parents' room at 5 in the morning thinking I was dying of leukemia.
7Blink-182
Enema of the State

Ubiquitous for the age group.
