05.03.16 | There's several Bob Dylan albums that were more important than almost all of these. Also a bunch of jazz and blues records that were more important than some of the albums on here.
Unless you mean important to you personally in which case that's subjective of course. |

05.03.16 | Needs The Mothers of Invention's Freak Out!, Pet Sounds, and probably Blonde on Blonde
3, 7, and 10 are probably the most replaceable here so yeah
Also, while 4 is my favorite Jimi record, Are You Experienced? is way more "important" |
Ocean of Noise
05.03.16 | Are You Experienced is also way better. |

05.03.16 | I disagree. Are You Experienced is actually my least favourite of the 3 Experience albums. |

05.03.16 | It's easily the least conceptual, but I prefer it to Electric Ladyland mainly because the merman section was always kind of pointless to me. |
Ocean of Noise
05.03.16 | I still actually haven't gotten around to jamming Electric Ladyland, but I prefer Are You Experienced to Axis: Bold as Love by a mile and a half. The latter is really uneven, and the production is lacking. |

05.03.16 | I meant to say important rock albums |

05.03.16 | In that case ignore the jazz/blues comment but Dylan's Bringing It All Back Home should really be here.
"I prefer Are You Experienced to Axis: Bold as Love by a mile and a half. The latter is really uneven, and the production is lacking."
I think Axis is better as it feels more refined musically and the song writing is more interesting with some moments of real beauty whereas Are You Experienced was more about him revolutionising guitar playing (thus making it more important historically).

05.03.16 | Also wtf Ars, 1983... (A Merman I Should Turn To Be) is like his greatest ever song. |

05.03.16 | 3 and 7 over Piper lol, also The Stooges debut, The Monks with their proto-punk stuff and Trout Mask Replica obviously. |

05.03.16 | Also i love Neil, but how a singer /songwriter folk album is more important than a Bob Dylan album from 65/66 or something |

05.04.16 | I'd put Sgt. Pepper in my list just for the sake of how it helped shape the modern concept album. I know it probably wasn't the only one, but it's one of the most notable ones. |
