Fantastic Metal Songs

My current most played songs.
1Profane
The Day We Scorched The Sky

This song is beautiful, melding atmospheric rock, jazz, and a post metal feel. Really toys with the emotions, amazing.
2Dog Fashion Disco
Silent Film

Unique, fresh, exciting. And this song is just so catchy. Love the trumpets.
3In Mourning
By Others Considered

That bass intro ...corr
4Spiritual Beggars
Bad Karma

Mike Amott's side project play southern rock the way it should be played, and this song in particular is a great representation of what the band has to offer. Stunning guitar work.
5Opeth
The Leper Affinity

Just been digging it a lot recently.
6Khoma
Like Coming Home

Maybe not particularly original but captivating none the less.
7Slayer
Dead Skin Mask

When that little boys voice comes in I still get shivers run down my spine. Seriously creepy.
8Profane
Turning Bloodletting Into An Artform

Beautiful.
9Sahg
Repent

Just a very very good song. Nice beat, and progressive.
10Mastodon
Siberian Divide

It's a fantastic song and showcases Mastodon at the top of their game.
11Queens Of The Stone Age
Song For The Dead

My fave QOTSA song and I've been listening to it a lot recently.
12Protest The Hero
Sequoia Throne

Love PtH and this is the best song off the new album, IMO.
13Strapping Young Lad
All Hail The New Flesh

From the opening riff this song has me hooked. Devin Townsend at his best.
14Scar Symmetry
Holographic Universe

Really dug the new album and this is my particular favourite. Amazing run of little solo's that blow my mind.
15Septic Flesh
Sangreal

I love the intro. And the whole song. But whatever, its really really good. Death metal with a twist.
