06.04.16 | Converge have easily been my favourite band over the past 5 and a half years and I wanted to try make a list of my top 50 Converge songs. However, after realising that I couldn't even decide what my favourite songs on each album were, I decided to rank their discography. Each day I will post the next album's ranking, and then end with my top Converge songs (including non-album tracks). You can go ahead and disregard my ranking for most of this album. 2-12 are basically interchangeable. |

06.04.16 | Let me put it this way: when I'm listening to the album as a whole, there are no favourites (although 1 will always be the most epic moment on the album and therefore always occupy the number 1 position). The way I ranked it was basically by thinking about which songs I turn to the most when I need a quick fix. The top 5 are usually my go-to ones which is why they are where they are. And the slower ones (Hell to Pay, Phoenix in Flight) are near the bottom because they work better in the context of the album than as standalone tracks I guess |
