My To-Get List
Pretty self-explanatory, these are the things I'm on the hunt for next time I hit the ol' record shop. |
1 | ![](images/albums/220683.jpg-thumbl) | Converge You Fail Me (Redux)
Not sure just how necessary this is, but early reports are pretty positive, and I trust Converge more than to cynically assume this is just a cash-grab. Plus, not entirely sure which shelf my current copy is hiding out on in my woefully disorganized CD collection, so it scratches that itch, at least. |
2 | ![](images/albums/224390.jpg-thumbl) | Broods Conscious
Didn't even realize this was coming out until about a week ago. Loved their EP, their first full-length a bit less so, but I'm looking forward to this. |
3 | ![](images/albums/219061.jpg-thumbl) | Kayo Dot Plastic House on Base of Sky |
4 | ![](images/albums/136135.jpg-thumbl) | True Widow Circumambulation |
5 | ![](images/albums/223333.jpg-thumbl) | Kaleo A/B |
6 | ![](images/albums/221656.jpg-thumbl) | Hail the Sun Culture Scars |
7 | ![](images/albums/223531.jpg-thumbl) | The Low Anthem Eyeland
Like Broods, this one caught me unawares, especially because I was about 98% confident this band had broken up, for some reason. |
8 | ![](images/albums/219380.jpg-thumbl) | DJ Shadow The Mountain Will Fall
Honestly haven't really dug much of what he's done post-Private Press, but early chatter around this has been positive, so I'm cautiously optimistic. |
9 | ![](images/albums/214486.jpg-thumbl) | Wet Don't You
Saw this band at Firefly, and was pretty impressed by the performance. |
10 | ![](images/albums/171910.jpg-thumbl) | Catfish and the Bottlemen The Balcony
Ditto. |
11 | ![](images/albums/219038.jpg-thumbl) | Swans The Glowing Man
Despite the unpleasantness (to put it exceedingly mildly) recently surrounding Michael Gira, I'm queasily curious about this album. |
