MrGarland 07.12.16	@trve That's really weird, man. I love music either way, but putting some headphones on while tripping ballsacks is always a pleasure. It sort of turns music into that feeling of ecstasy for me.

MrGarland 07.12.16	LSD or Psilocybin Mushrooms does the trick for me. People argue that the highs are different, but both sort of have the same outcome for me. Sometimes more intense, sometimes a downright nightmare. But I love those self-destroying moments while tripping, it changes you.

trve 07.12.16	first time ketamine + N2O, second time shrooms iirc a friend of mine told me he could separate music into layers and stuff while on shrooms, played galilean satellites and he was overwhelmed while i got distracted all the time and the music became sort of an irrelevant background noise because my thought patterns were so much more interesting

guitarded_chuck 07.12.16	havent done shrooms in a few years now but iirc its on lsd that i gain that supreme appreciation for music and things. shrooms are a bit more self-reflective, lsd more exploratory
MrGarland 07.12.16	@trve I've noticed it's easy to get distracted, so if I want to listen to music and fully immerse myself in it, I have to turn off the lights and put some headphones on.

YetAnotherBrick 07.12.16	dude if music isn't the best fucking thing ever when you're tripping, you're not paying attention lol i could see 2, 3 and 10 being fantastic, but i'd pick Sunbather over 5 any day, especially tripping. and if you dig 9 check Hawk House's "A Handshake to the Brain." First time I heard that album I was tripping, now every time I listen to it there's still a little bit of that aura there. YetAnotherBrick 07.12.16	@MrGarland yeah dude. i'd already heard it so many times, but it was still like a whole new album. i actually understood the theater in it: the facepalming irony in Sweet Charity, that just-missed-it sadness of Pink Cigarette (really shouldn't have needed acid to figure that out tho, i guess i never really knew the words haha) and the prayer in Goodbye Sober Day. And that song was extra apropos of course haha

MrGarland 07.12.16	Dude, listen to porno next time you get the chance to trip. It's a hell of a ride, but it's worth it. I don't recommend anyone who has bad anxiety to listen to it though. Might wanna take a few bars before hand. lol

WatchItExplode 07.12.16	Incubus - S.C.I.E.N.C.E. in the woods watching the sun go down was probably the best overall music experience I've had. It starts off with didgeridoo and by the time the instruments kick in you are elsewhere

TheSpaceMan 07.12.16	2 is the only album I'd highly rec from here while tripping, and its definitely more of an LSD album for me. I think shrooms has a very organic, introspective, visual and sometimes claustrophobic trip at high doses so it usually demands a more specific type of music for me. acid is a lot sharper and less confusing and while obviously still visual it isn't as debilitating as shrooms can be. easy to control, and I usually take massive doses of it. throw almost any kind of music that I'd appreciate sober and I'd love it 10x more on acid. its all very personal though
