Got a Ton of Albums From a USB
Thought I'd share what I personally wanted to listen to. List is compressed to artists and not all the albums, too lazy to put like 50 in there. |
1 | | Iron Maiden Somewhere in Time
Keen to dig into this. 6 albums. |
2 | | The Rolling Stones Sticky Fingers
One of those bands that I've listened nothing to, even though they might be essentials. Might as well start now. There's 9 albums in there anyway, plenty of material. |
3 | | Adam and the Ants Kings of the Wild Frontier
This looks disgusting but why not? 1 album. |
4 | | Golden Smog Down By the Old Mainstream
Heard nothing about these guys. Saw Jeff Tweedy in a music video. 1 album. |
5 | | Fu Manchu The Action is Go
Stoner rock, judging by "Burning Road." Feels like Kyuss. 3 albums. |
6 | | Shellac At Action Park
Steve Albini makes angry sounding things. 1 album. |
7 | | Bailter Space Wammo
Band from the home country of NZ, so the album won't be on the database. "Splat" sounds like the best Oasis song the Gallagher brothers never came up with in their cocaine-addled imagination, and I know literally nothing else about the "Wammo" album. 1 album. |
8 | | The Flaming Lips Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
Weird but I'm interested to see where this will take me. 3 albums (Clouds, Soft Bulletin, Yoshimi) |
9 | | Television Adventure
May have jumped slightly seeing this on the USB. 2 albums (but I'm not listening to the live album any time soon.) |
10 | | Grant Lee Buffalo Fuzzy
Golden Smog Syndrome, haven't heard anything about these guys. 2 albums. |
11 | | The Mars Volta De-Loused in the Comatorium
Had Frances the Mute, but somewhere I just dropped interest. Hopefully this will sweep me up again. 2 albums (De-Loused and Amputechture) |
12 | | Mastodon Crack the Skye
I THINK THAT SOMETHING IS TRYING TO KILL ME! 1 album (would've have been 2 if the Blood Mountain folder wasn't empty) |
13 | | Ryan Adams Demolition
Country rock, I guess? Only thing I know is that he covered Taylor Swift track for track. 6 albums. |
14 | | Tom Waits Blue Valentine
Rolling Stones Syndrome. Heard he was good, will listen to it, confirmation bias will kick in, will probably think he's good. 2 albums (Rain Dogs and Blue Valentine) |
15 | | Frank Black Teenager of the Year
Completely forgot I didn't put this in my iTunes library. 1 album. |
16 | | The Black Keys El Camino
EDIT: 4 Black Keys albums. Enough garage blues for hibernating in the winter. |
17 | | Primal Scream Vanishing Point
EDIT: 2 albums. Kinda wish my entry point was Screamadelica, but then again I have no idea what to expect from this band. (Other album is Give Out but Don't Give Up) |
18 | | Thom Yorke The Eraser
EDIT: Thom Yorke will do his computer diddling, I'm sure. Just the 1. |
