anarchistfish 08.24.16	got a bit bored with soldier and reinhardt. only play them if I have to. realised I'm shit with Pharah. my win rate with junkrat is ridiculous considering he's my 2nd most played character (think at 70% he's 2nd behind zenyatta who I've only played 10 minutes which doesn't really count) and he's so much fun to play. been getting better with mccree, reaper, roadhog and mercy lately.

AsleepInTheBack 08.24.16	they haven't announced it yet, though people are thinking it'll be when season 2 drops, so mid September. I wouldnt be surprised if they released all the buffs and nerds, the Rein skins and the new map earlier than that though, at least on PC.

Final Origin 08.24.16	The biggest annoyance for me is when you are on the defending team, you always get someone who clings onto Genji or Reaper because they can't use anyone else, such one dimensional players. My best characters are Tracer, Widowmaker, Roadhog and Ana. I like to use any type of character though I am not fussed.

Final Origin 08.24.16	Yeah I meant on Competitive Play when people use Genji or Reaper, not fussed when on Quick Play as you can practice on there. People just don't know how to defend properly and decide to rush out and leave the base/payload exposed. A laughable one is choosing Tracer while defending, using a character with 150HP while defending is just silly. Yeah Bastion on a control map....that's unspeakable.

Problem that I have is I like playing about 2 thirds of all the characters fairly frequently, so I haven't really got great with any of them (bar zenyatta)

Final Origin 08.24.16	Looking forward to Season 2 a lot, I did incredibly well in Season 1 but the ranking was a bit unfair. I dropped from 63 to 55 in a matter of couple of days even though I was getting gold/silver medals all the time in a losing team. Hope Season 2 reflects hard work more generously this time round.

NastyCrab 08.24.16	I do really well as soldier and he works well for lone-wolf players (which I usually am). being able to self-heal, sprint, and flank while having decent range and high dps is pretty great.

sempiturtle 08.24.16	This is my GOTY so far, and probably the only online FPS I've truly liked since Halo 3. My favorite character in general is either Tracer or Mercy, but the hero I play the best as is D.Va. My winrate with her is something like 60% and my elims per life is around 4.6

I think no probs, we have our mvp reaper who can easily destroy that. I tell him on the 2nd objective to deal with it, ignores it and we lost the objective. 3rd objective exactly the same thing and we lose the match. I tell him dude as reaper you should get the bastion, that's the strategy. Starts getting all butthurt and defensive, "oh yeah rich to blame me" etc even though I'd been telling him for half the game.

Calc 08.27.16	i'm for penalizing quitting early multiple times because I think they are trying to stop a precedent being set. consistent penalizing for leaving early even in quick play games will deter more people from quitting in comp than no penalty at all. near the end of the season people were quitting left and right for anything and that literally completely ruins the game for the 5 man team.

Like no shit, that was never meant to be the point of them. Skins and loot boxes are just these cool, sometimes limited edition things like in the case of the olympics (whose skins were mostly awful tbh) that add superficially to the game and the fact you can't always guarantee that you'll get some of them just makes them a bit cooler and more valuable. It's not like you can't unlock the regular items you want either, even supposed legendaries. You can't even see your skin when you're playing.

AsleepInTheBack 09.09.16	You guys enjoying competitive season 2? I'm try harding so much its loosing its fun, and the placement matches seem to put everyone in gold/plat and so matches range from facing players way above my level to those that clearly have no clue.
Final Origin 09.09.16	The thing with competitive is that when you are losing games constantly (for me 3-4 times), just stop playing the mode. You will only get frustrated and start hating it, take a break from it and come back fresh. Unfortunately when I am not partying up with anyone and try solo matchmaking, you do get some awful teams who seem to do nothing right (evident with the amount of gold/silver medals I achieve every game) and it does affect your ranking. At the moment, I am on 2653 but I know I can get much higher than that, you just get some dud games and just need to know when to quit while you are ahead.

Sinternet 09.09.16	yeah im at 2100 or so aswell, got 3 wins, 1 draw. 6 losses in placements the problem is two of those losses were 5v6 as people left the match, which is really fucking annoying. I think if you do get stuck with 5v6 they should just void the result for the losing team as it's really not their fault tbh. Also realised i'm a pretty kickass Mercy recently so been playing a lot of her.

Sinternet 09.12.16	omfg comp is getting me so pissed - despite playing pretty well im not moving at all my best hero atm is mercy so i do play her a fair bit but at around rank 2000 no-one ever picks support, so i'm forced into playing her when to improve my rank it's a lot easier to pick a dps hero. and when i do play mercy none of my team stay on the point, and they never look out for me. there's always a reaper, genji or tracer behind our backline just constantly destroying me and none of my team are turning around,, they just walk forward. either that or they just stand where they are at choke points and dont force a push at all. im getting gold for healing and objective time (as support!) and once i even got a joint gold for eliminations as mercy. its really fucking annoying rn.

AsleepInTheBack 09.12.16	I'm still playing, but I'm not taking it as seriously as i used to. i mean, I'm only playing meta heros that i know pretty well and have 10 plus hours on each and I'm obviously trying to win, but I'm accepting that sometimes you'll have shit teammates and thats out of my control so why stress about it, just play well and dont get too annoyed when you lose as the competitive system is designed to make you lose roughly 50% of the time

anarchistfish 09.12.16	I've played 2 competitive games today first game is on numbani attack: we wreck the first point and capture it, one of the enemy immediately ragequits and the game is cancelled 2nd game on lijiang: we have a hanzo on top of a junkrat and 2 dps none of whom wanna change to a 2nd tank or 2nd healer (I had to take zarya who I'm not amazing with), my teammates start quitting cos we're getting wrecked and the hanzo is doing fuck all, we get thrashed and I lose 60 SR i have not played a 3rd game

Overwatch is extremely overpriced, the lack of content is notorious as hell, the microtransations of that game are awful and is a fuckin pay to win game. It’s gonna be huge for a few years at least, the player base is still growing exponentially so it’ll be ages before it even starts to die down. The heroes I play most are; D’va (main) Tracer Reaper Mei Lucio I suck dick at most of the other characters so I’m trying to git gud at them. Genji, Zarya, and Reinhardt are on my list to train with. I imagine I'll love Sombra though since she's like a mix of Tracer and Reaper. Fuck Hanzo, Ana and Widowmaker, on PS4 those heroes are useless. Also fuck Roadhog’s hook, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve thrown my controller in a fit of rage after being hooked round a fucking wall.

Gyromania 11.11.16	i too have played the most with lucio. i love how balanced he is and i can usually help carry my team to victory with him, as long as they aren't being jackasses and splitting up. soldier is also a lot of fun to play as, and roadhog and (i know i'm in the minority here) ana. bastion is the most basic bitch character ever in a game tho. junkrat is pretty bs too, and hanzo. dvas ultimate is complete horse shit, as is junkrat's. their area of effect is hilarious to say the least, and i want to smash dvas face in when she says 'NERF THIS'
Sinternet 11.11.16	dva's ult is useless though, you rarely pick up any kills for it and it's so easily countered with reinhardt shield and the lenght of time it takes to detonate means people can easily get away, hopefully with sombra's ult it will make dva's more powerful again

He is nothing without his turret, which can't do shit for damage until hit to level 2. Easy AF to counter a Torb. But fuck me Junkrat is fun. Couple dozen in game hours as him. Learning his grenade ricochet and trajectories leads to some really fun chaotic gameplay.
