Every thing I've jammed since the last list, some from this quarter gone by and some that I hadn't got around to on the last lists. Been a pretty great year so far for sure, I highly recommend everything I 4'd or 3.5'd. Mostly ranked accurately, however it's all subject to change.
I'm honestly not sure, they're not really like anything specifically I've heard before, maybe a touch of QOTSA and Pantera mixed with a pretty standard rock approach. The vocalist sounds like a cross between Serj Tankian in parts and Michael Poulson of Volbeat.
@Arch glad you're digging Eissturm, I think I should revisit it, it left me a tad underwhelmed last time but also stuck with me, not sure what's up with that.
@Rom agreed hard, that album is all over the place stylistically but it's all so good.
