Liberals say some dumb shit about firearms and social justice. Conservatives say some dumb shit about social policy involving people's personal choices. I also have a hard time calling myself a Libertarian because I like having a progressive tax, the FAA, the FDA, (despite how broken it is), the EPA, a strong NASA and R&D program, and I believe that medical attention for profit isn't ethical and that a person shouldn't be born into a wealthy country and still fear not being able to receive care because they're poor. I'd like to see each state implement their own single-payer health program, possibly backed by some federal funds (although leaving the implementation details to each state gov)

My experience in a private school was absolutely dreadful and it would never wish it upon my worst enemies. It's pretty bad when said school has more sex and drugs running through it than a school in a not very nice area. But that's not really the fault of the /school/ What is the fault, however, is not rectifying bullying, threats of violence had nothing done about them. Biased staff that try to hold you back when you have straight a's (not me) so they can milk another year's money out of you. All of this shit gets hushed quickly. The school cares about the almost 1000 a month tuition moreso than the wellbeing and educational quality of their students. Not to mention that every single teacher that works there spare a grand total of 3 is abysmal and should be out of a job. Oh, and the teachers are paid less than any public school teacher in my state. I am speaking from my own experience and from the experiences of peers in one school, but I've been talking to a lot of people that have had similar or even worse issues in other schools elsewhere in the US.

And yeah I actively avoid his political stuff cause what I've heard was not up my alley at all, no surprise there and again he has nothing new to offer in this area as he just reiterates points made by those much more politically knowledgeable than himself anyway.

I've heard the opposition. I've considered their arguments. I find them utterly unconvincing. I don't need to read every additional thing they write to reevaluate my opinion on them. That's not how this works.
